Vvidget Builder and other Vvidget-based applications are made using Vvidget Tools. Vvidget Tools is a very powerful API-based programming kit. It is not included with Vvidget Builder, however Vvidget Builder has some important hooks for using Vvidget Tools which are briefly touched upon here. Vvidget: A Vvidget is a specialized object in the Vvidget system. It is a take-off of the word Widget (with a W).
Vvidget Name. You can assign a name to a graphic made with Vvidget Builder by using the Expert Inspector Editor. The Vvidget associated with that name can then be retrieved using a simple Vvidget method call.
Vvidget Template. A Vvidget Template is simply a Vvidget document. If you make a document with Vvidget Builder then you have also made templates. Templates can be retrieved programmatically and all their associated graphic objects are decoded into a run time state so you can work with them directly. Each figure in this manual is a Vvidget Template which is decoded in real time and shown in this web browser.
